Sarah's works are easily recognizable thanks to a specific structure that creates an impasto effect, precious metals, gilding techniques and mixed pigments. These allow her to play more effectively with light and shadows. She is inspired by the eastern philosophy and its approach rather than by western painting.
Sarah often uses roses. She started with painting women and mothers, then she was evolving this theme towards symbolism until she was left with a rose - perceived by different cultures as a symbol of a woman. You can find it in the World’s Garden and Oligarch collections. Oligarch is not a separate collection, it represents different topics which are connected by glow and luxurious feel. The main motif is the light, with the golden colour representing the sun. Furthermore, some old gilding techniques are used here.
